75th Birthday Party

For my aunt's 75th birthday I wanted to honor her role as the matriarch of our very large family (over 35 of us).  So I threw her a surprise party with the entire family hiding in my house and for her very special gift I made her a Family Quilt--each block of the quilt featured a member of the family --with his or her name hand written and some symbol to represent him or her, such as a light bulb for the electrician and a globe for the traveler in the family.  She was delighted and we all enjoyed the framed quilt.
